‘Bias’ is a respected and well known South African graffitti artist. He has been performing his work on the streets of Johannesburg for the last decade, and has featured in local and international books and magazines and is extremely knowledgeable and well connected.

The Converse Cons South Africa crew embarked on a road trip in November 2016 from Johannesburg to Durban with a quick stop at Indigo in the valley of 1000 hills.
Unfortunately, Durban’s Golden Mile that’s famed for sun, sand and sea was actually a bit of a washout, as it rained every day for the five days the crew explored the east coast.

The Converse Cons South Africa crew visited the Skateistan facility in downtown Johannesburg back in November. The guys spent an afternoon rolling with the kids and donated 30 pairs of Converse sneakers to the Skateistan programme.
The main shed has been dated at 1893, making it one of the oldest industrial structures remaining in Johannesburg.
Ben is self-taught having studied music before making his foray into design. “Often the only way to learn is by trial and error,” he says.

Yesterday, CONVERSE donated almost 3 000 DeskBags to Reshomile Primary School and Musenga Vadzimu Primary School in Diepsloot, Johannesburg. Following last year’s donation of 1 000 DeskBags to Siyazingisa Primary School in Gugulethu township near Cape Town, Converse has maintained their efforts to assist local communities in South Africa.
“Our story with Dickies goes back to us trying to find someone who could manufacture clothes that would be able to stand up to what we do every day and also be aesthetically cool and this was the only brand that could do that,” says Fenner.
